We founded Optimal Surgical so that we can make a bigger difference in healthcare through disrupting the status quo in the medical device sector.
Our Purpose
We are passionate about getting better value and better quality care for patients which we believe can be done through improvements in products, processes and the services provided. Large corporate companies have charged high prices for technology which has not really advanced very much. We aim to either bring new more innovative products to the market or equivalent performance products at a lower cost.

Our strong background of success across a number of roles and companies in both the UK and Australia gives us a broad experience base to help you find innovative solutions and maximise your efficiency. Our understanding of the market, products, procedures, and established relationships across Australia can help you to gain traction with your current product portfolios or to launch new products into this market. We are passionate about training and have extensive experience in training of sales people as well as setting up external professional education courses for surgeons, trainees and nurses.

Since leaving the comfort of the corporate world we have successfully launched a medical device company taking it from 0 employees to 11 employees and sales agents in less than 4 years’ time. We have grown another brand we distribute by well over 200% in just over two years.
